    Warnings for cutting/self harm, anxiety, depression, death. Thank you to Entangled Teen and Netgalley for my earc. I did see the twists coming, but I still enjoyed it. I found it hard to put down and read the last 50% in one sitting. This leads Violet on a search that changes everything for her. She searches through her mom’s items and finds an old photo and a necklace with the letter M. She starts doing as much research online as she can. But Violet refuses to believe that she’s dead. After a couple days, Savannah and their dad accept that Jenn isn’t coming back. The chapters are told by days missing and the time of day.

    There was a total of 155 people on the plane. They lost the transponder reporting and have only a general area by Puerto Rico to search. It turns out that the entire plane went missing. After the play, her dad is on the phone with someone. At first, Violet assumed her mom was late, but she also had a bad feeling. Their mom is a pilot and was flying back from Brazil. She promised to be there after her flight came in. On the night of the school play, Violet can’t see her mom in the audience. Violet is an artist and Savannah is trying to get into Stanford. It wasn’t quite what I expected, but it ended up being really good. I wasn’t really sure what this was about when I was asked to read it. Just as I start to open up, the answer to what really happened to Flight 133 could rip my world apart all over again-for good this time. All I know is falling for him will only make things more complicated. I have my secrets, the same way Mom has hers. I want to trust him, to let him see who I really am, but I can’t. Now it feels like someone split my world-and me-in two, and the only person who believes me is Landon. No one else knows that before she left, she wrote me a note. The pilot was my mom, and there’s no way she would hurt anyone. Suddenly, everyone on the news and social media is talking about whether the pilot intentionally crashed it-everyone but me.
